Metamorphia Designs on Facebook

Metamorphia Designs also has a Facebook page!

*Metamorphia Designs* Inworld Store!

I now have an inworld store at Loki!  Here you can see the Gargoyle Greeter in action, see the Unicorn Desk, be illuminated by the Dragon Torch (photos and video coming soon), check out the Steel Bed, and more!  There's a Subscribe-O-Matic Kiosk, for you to sign up for announcements and free gifts, a link to this blog and a Second Life Marketplace Magic Box.

This Saturday October 1st, I'll be having a small Grand Opening event from 3pm to 6pm SLT.  Come by, check out the store, meet me (provided my internet connection cooperates), and get a free gift!

UWA Sky Sim Art Exhibit Location

It's official!  The UWA Sky Sim Art Exhibit has been announced!  My "Interactive Zoo of Endangered Species" is scheduled for December.  It will be located at WASP Land/139/44/249 (Currently, the SLurl link isn't working, but if you type WASP Land/139/44/249 into your log in screen, you can get there).  The first exhibit starts October 1st at 7pm.  It's "jjccc Art" by jjccc Coronet.  See the UWA announcement for a listing of all the shows.

Unicorn Desk is Scripted and in the Marketplace!

I've added some enhancements to the Unicorn Desk and listed it in the Second Life® Marketplace

Anyone can open and close the desk by touching the unicorn's ribs on the left side. Anyone can make the unicorn whinny by touching the horn. there is a 20 second delay between whinnies.

The unicorn also has fog emitting from its left rear hoof. The owner can turn the fog on, change its color (white is the default), and turn it off in chat. The channel is set to 33. You can change the channel by selecting Edit, Edit Linked, and then choosing the Left Rear Hoof. Put the channel number you would like to use in the Description. For help with the fog, chat "/33 help" (without the quotes and on a different channel, if you've changed it).

Commands for the fog include:
help
fogon
red
orange
yellow
green
cyan
blue
purple
pink
black
white
fogoff
The unicorn is made of 10 prims. Eight of those are Mesh. The eyes are standard prims. The prim equivalency for the Unicorn Desk is 85.

UWA September Art Challenge!

Please view and vote for my Unicorn Desk with Mushroom Stool at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/UWA/61/134/250!  The only specifications for this challenge are a 110 prim limit.  I made it with a 86 prim equivalency, hence the blockiness on the unicorn. I plan on adding more scripted features to this piece and selling it in the marketplace.  (I will also be submitting one or two pieces to next month's challenge.  I'm thinking I'll make them relevant to Halloween.)

UWA Sky Sim Art Exhibit

I've just been informed that I will be creating an exhibit for UWA (University if Western Australia) in Second Life for the month of December.  I will have a 5000 prim limit.  I don't want to give up all the details yet, but it involves an interactive exhibit on endangered species.  I will begin creation today.  When the event gets closer, I will post more details, including the location.  =D

Gargoyle Greeter

Buy it in the Second Life Marketplace!

Looking for a cool gothic sculpture that also has function? Buy this Gargoyle Greeter! He greets your visitors and flaps his wings for about 10 seconds, tells them to touch him for a note, notifies you that you have visitors, and makes a list of the visitors for you! He is also customizable! In addition to being able to change his size, you can set a custom channel, range, rate, greeting message, and set what location he is at (in case you have more than one placed).

He is 5 prims. Two are regular prims and 3 are mesh prims. The total prim equivalency is 55. It's quite high, but he has great detail!

Permissions on the object are Mod and Copy, but no transfer. The scripts are copy only. The note cards are full permission.

Instructions are included within the gargoyle's contents, or you may download a PDF on the Second Life Marketplace listing.
